EPICANTHOPLASTY
01. Medial Epicanthoplasty
What is it?
Reshape the inner corner of the eye to make the eye bigger and brighter by “redraping” the medial epicanthal skin (Mongolian fold).

Who can benefit?
1. People with extreme Mongolian fold.

3. People with wide gap between the eyes.
4. People with downward slopping inner eye corners.
5. Steep inner crease.
How is it done?
The Mongolian fold is cut and removed. The remaining skin is redraped to show the desired shape and the slant. Sutures are hidden along the new corner of the eye.


02. Lateral Epicanthoplasty
What is it?
Reshape the outer(lateral) corner of the eye to make the eye bigger and brighter by reshaping the lateral epicanthus. In addition this procedure can change the angle of the eye. The shape and angle of your eye can be customized by JK’s expert surgeons to ensure permanent results.
Who can benefit?
1. Want bigger eyes.
2. Unhappy with the upward slanting angle of their eye.
3. Eye are too close together to receive medial epicanthoplasty.

How is it done?
Outer eye skin is opened with the mucosa is relocated to the desired position behind the skin. Sutures are used to fix the shape in place.
